The naming of a company.

There was a lot of excitement in the village as the names came in for these plants. There were so many of the same names that the elders of the village had a vote on the final 5 names:

1) Little Green Things

2) Tiny Green Things

3) Really Small Green Things

4) Minuscule Green Things (this was done by Hugo’s little sister Hugo-Anna - she always liked big words and thought a big name for tiny plants was the perfect thing)

5) Microgreens (this was sent in by Hugo’s cousin Hugo - not the one you’re thinking of - the other cousin Hugo)

It was a very close contest, with name Microgreens winning by the slimmest of margins. Or, as Hugo’s sister Hugo-Anna said, by a minuscule margin.

After that, Hugo started his very own business selling these kits for others to grow, and he called it Hugo, Hugo, and Hugo Microgreens. After a while, Hugo’s cousin Hugo (still not the one you’re thinking of - the other cousin Hugo) had to leave, as he was moving to another village. The name changed to Hugo and Hugo Microgreens. Hugo’s cousin (yes - THAT cousin Hugo) felt he must leave to try something on his own. The business’ name changed again - this time to Hugo Microgreens.

As there were no typewriters or keyboards back then, all the business’ writing was done by hand. Eventually, Hugo started to get tired of all the writing he had to do for every invoice he made, so he changed the name again to Hugogreen, which, in a way, did not make any sense whatsoever. Hugo’s sister Hugo-Anna thought of a better name for this company - and Ugrogreens was born!
